2. General information on data processing
We process personal data only to the extent necessary to provide this website, respond to enquiries, or operate the technical services used by the website. Personal data includes information such as names, email addresses, telephone numbers and IP addresses.
3. Hosting and server log data
The website www.stauden-peters.de is deployed and hosted through Vercel. When the website is accessed, Vercel may process technically necessary connection and server data, including the IP address, date and time of access, requested page or file, referrer URL, browser type and version, operating system and other technical connection data.
This processing is carried out to provide the website securely, reliably and efficiently, to diagnose technical errors and to prevent misuse. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the secure and functional operation of our website.
Where Vercel processes personal data on our behalf, such processing is governed by a data processing agreement pursuant to Article 28 GDPR. Depending on the technical delivery and subprocessors used, data may also be processed outside the EU/EEA. Where this occurs, the safeguards required by the GDPR for international data transfers are applied.
IONOS is not used to host this website. IONOS is used solely for domain/DNS management and email services. When email communication is used, data such as sender and recipient addresses, date and time, subject, message content and technical metadata may be processed.
Processing is carried out to conduct communications and provide the email infrastructure on the basis of Article 6(1)(b) or 6(1)(f) GDPR, as applicable. Where IONOS processes data on our behalf, such processing is governed by Article 28 GDPR.
4. Contact form and enquiries
A contact form is available on our website. In particular, the following information may be processed:
- Name
- Email address
- Telephone number
- Message content and any information provided voluntarily
We use this information solely to process your enquiry and communicate with you. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR where your enquiry relates to entering into or performing a contract. In other cases, processing is based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is the proper handling of business and other enquiries.
The data is deleted when it is no longer required to deal with the enquiry, unless statutory retention obligations or other legitimate reasons require further storage.
5. Cookies and analytics
According to the current technical configuration, we do not use analytics or tracking services and do not place our own non-essential cookies for advertising, analytics or profiling purposes.
This does not exclude technically necessary storage or comparable technologies that may be strictly required by the technical infrastructure.
If additional cookies, analytics or marketing services are introduced in the future, this Privacy Policy will be updated before they are activated and consent will be obtained where legally required.
6. Embedded YouTube videos
This website may contain embedded videos from YouTube. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
To protect your privacy, YouTube videos are embedded using YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode via youtube-nocookie.com.
The YouTube video is not loaded automatically when the page is opened. Instead, a placeholder is displayed and the YouTube content is loaded only after you actively choose to load the video.
By choosing to load the video, a connection to YouTube/Google servers may be established. In particular, your IP address and technical usage data may be transmitted to Google. If you are signed in to YouTube or Google, Google may be able to associate your use of the video with your account.
Where consent is required for loading YouTube content, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. Your consent is given through your active action to load the video and may be withdrawn at any time with effect for the future.
Further information about Google's processing of personal data is available in Google's privacy information.
7. Recipients and processors
Personal data is disclosed only where necessary for the purposes described above, where required by law, or where another legal basis permits disclosure.
Recipients may include Vercel as the website hosting provider, IONOS for domain/DNS management and email services and, when embedded videos are loaded, Google/YouTube.
8. Retention periods
We retain personal data only for as long as necessary for the respective processing purpose. Data may be retained for longer where statutory retention periods apply or where storage is necessary for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.
9. Your rights
Subject to the requirements of the GDPR, data subjects have in particular the right of access (Article 15 GDPR), rectification (Article 16 GDPR), erasure (Article 17 GDPR), restriction of processing (Article 18 GDPR), data portability (Article 20 GDPR), and the right to object to processing based on Article 6(1)(e) or (f) GDPR (Article 21 GDPR).
